The Honolulu Century Ride

Before I get into the post-ride travel details. I thought I'd go over the Honolulu Century Ride and tell you a little bit about the course and the things I will see along the way.

The ride starts out at Kapiolani Park on the beautiful Island of Oahu.

From there, we bike around Diamond Head on Kilauea Ave making our way to Kalanianaole Hwy (I am determined to figure out how the hell to pronounce that before I leave the island.

We will pretty much follow the coastal line all the way up to Kaaawa (I feel like I left out an "a" in there) and then we turn around and come back the way we came.

It's going to be amazing. And a complete pain in the ass (I will be sitting on a very small seat the entire day, afterall!).

It'll be worth it though! The scenery couldn't be more wonderful, and the cause it's supporting any greater. To date, I have raised $10,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in the last 15 months, and $4,240 of that this season. If you'd like to donate, I encourage you to visit my fundraising page to make a donation that goes direction tot he society and the research and patient aid it supports.

Coming soon: Day 1: Oahu Plans!
